BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL EVENTS
FCA BAseball & Softball
Day Camps

Our FCA Day camps are great opportunities for baseball and softball players to develop their sport and grow in their faith. We provide quality coaching and safe environments for learning skills and drills, while campers also have fun together, work hard, and take time to hear more about God's heart for them.
Baseball: Some of the baseball fun includes station work, competitive games, battle royale, camper of the day, know your coaches, and MLB Tryouts for baseball.
Softball:
FCA Softball camp will be half days from 9am-12pm. It will be softball training in a fun and positive environment. Great place to continue to develop skills and learn from current and former college players.

MEET OUR CAMP DIRECTORS

Ryan Dearing
Area Rep, Ada County Baseball Director, Canyon County and Ada Day Camp Director
Ryan felt his calling to sports ministry after graduating from Northwest Nazarene University with a Bachelor's in Youth Ministry and a Graduate Certificate in Spiritual Formation. He started by volunteering as a huddle leader at the FCA PNW All-Sports Camp in 2019 and began his coaching career the following fall. Since then, Ryan has continued to volunteer, intern, and now work for the ministry of FCA, grateful for the opportunity to coach the next generation of athletes.
"So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God." --1 Corinthians 10:31

Sean Rooney
Program Director, Day Camp Director
Sean has been a part of FCA since 2011, becoming an area director in 2017. After a chance to play baseball professionally with the Washington Nationals, God led him to FCA Baseball in Southern California. After six years on staff there and some time as the North Orange County Area Director, God opened the door for us to move to Nampa in 2018. Sean married his wife, Jana, in 2009 and since then have had four kids.
"For what will it benefit someone if he gains the whole world yet loses his life? Or what will anyone give in exchange for his life?" --Matthew 16:26
